The Worship of Walker Judson Book Signing
Saturday, November 15, from 3 to 5 PM
Main Street Garden and Cafe
3101 N. Main St, Soquel, CA, 95073
Please join author, Janice Strubbe Wittenberg, as she shares her debut novel, The Worship of Walker Judson. It’s a special event, not just to hear how she wrote the book, but about the journey taken to publish it.
The story, which reviewers call “powerful magical realism,” explores the abuse of power, which can be extraordinarily seductive, and how it creates conditions for followers to lose their own inner compass. The Worship of Walker Judson tells of a healer-gone-bad and the young woman who gives up her life to follow him.
Hosted by Janice’s pal since fourth grade, Deborah Allen, the signing and reception, include a reading from the novel and time for questions. Snacks and beverages will be provided courtesy of Main Street Garden and Cafe; no-host bar available. Music by Michael Hodjera and JheaAnne McCloskey.
RSVP: Mauro@mainstreetgardencafe.com, or call (831) 477-9265.
No cost for the event.
(Feel free to make dinner reservations.)
Parking available across the street in the church lot.
